Video Update from IUGA President Fred Milani

Hello all! The new revamped IUGA Spotlight is here with amazing new content that we hope will be engaging, informative and help you make the best use of your IUGA membership. The content will be hybrid with a video posted on our social media pages (Instagram and Twitter) and written content that will be posted on the IUGA spotlight section of the IUGA website.

The content will include an eclectic mix of interesting scientific content and IUGA related content. We hope that you will enjoy this new phase in the Spotlight journey!

We kick off this new phase with the IUGA Presidential Address that was delivered by our beloved President Fred Milani at the Singapore IUGA meeting in June. We could not think of a better way to commence this new iteration than an introduction by our IUGA President.

We look forward to your feedback to this change in our path! Please like, comment and subscribe to our social media channels!

With best regards,

Aparna Hegde

Video Update from Surgical Committee Co-Chair Catherine Matthews

I'm Catherine Matthews and I'm delighted to spend a few moments telling you a little bit more about the new IAPS surgical video site that's available to all our IUGA members. Just at the 49th Annual Meeting in Singapore, we launched the new and improved IUGA Academy, which includes the amazing IAPS website. It was originally curated by Mark Walters, Mickey Karram, and Cheryl Perrero, and they have now passed it on to IUGA.

This site has everything you need to know about the latest and greatest urogynecology surgical techniques. It's the place I hope you'll visit, and where you'll encourage your fellows and residents to go as well. They can look at surgical videos before surgical case studies. Every month, we'll be reviewing up to 10 articles, so you won’t have to sift through the major journals to find the best articles published that month. Mark Walters will be curating these reviews for you.

So, I'm super excited about this! We have a new Surgical Committee that will be curating all the content for the site. We strongly encourage you to respond to our call for submissions for the best video presentation for next year. We're really excited to share this platform and advance urogynecology education together. Thank you!
