The IUGA FTECP committee in conjunction with Pre-Vocational Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society (PVOGS) of Australia & New Zealand presented a webinar discussing the Management of Chronic Pelvic Pain in Urogynecology. Dr Ian Thong, a Pain Specialist physician and the Medical Director of the Interdisciplinary Pain Centre at Gold Coast University Hospital in Australia, discussed the management of chronic pelvic pain and what urogynecologists and gynecologists should involve in their assessment and management of patients. Bridget Weeks, a Senior Physiotherapist with advanced qualification in management of pelvic floor disorders, discussed the role of physiotherapists in the management of chronic pelvic pain and some tips in tricks regarding assessment.
